I was bored yesterday... wet weather gets to a bunny after a while. Not much to do but graze. Even sleeping is tough, you just get settled and drip, drip, drip - rain is coming through the shed roof or finding you in your most recent hidy hole.
When the first of my humans came home I didn't bother amusing myself by evading efforts to coerce me inside, instead I chased the cat in (and manged to bite the back of his leg as we went) and then stayed in. My humans seemed interested in unimportant things so I decided to fake being sick.
First, because it gave me a lot of joy, I peed all over one of the humans as I hopped off. What an aim! I got all up her arm, the mattress she was sitting on, her jumper and her magazine (she just looks at magazines for hours, I don't think she has worked out yet that they are there for the sole purpose of wearing down your teeth).
What an idiot! If someone peed on me, I'd be pissed (no pun intended) but this doe! She looked worried (heh!). She asked me if I was ok. She followed me around with a concerned look - what a drip - are humans a lark or what? Or is it just the does?
She offered me one of those doggy chocolates (I offen wonder why they aren't they called Rabbit Chocs?) and I simply turned my nose up. Internally I was hanging out for the chocolate but a buck has to make sacrifices sometimes. Then she went and got me one of those biscuits that the male human often shares with me. Buck! Believe me a lot of bunny will power was needed to turn that down. I just pushed it around, looking bored. She got really worried and that is when it payed off... she scooped me up and talked to me and patted my head, scratched my jaw for at least an hour. Hah.
Eventually she had to put me down to do something - a rude shock to my relaxed system - so I started thumping. (Do you know if you thump while not actually running around, humans become worried?). Unfortunately, this only got me a bit of patting then she tried to give me some horrible stuff and was considering something else and ... Whoa! she wanted me to 'poo'. I ask you! (I must admit I was having a hard time trying to hold off).
It was fun while it lasted but eventually I got bored, hungry and wanted to go about my business so I suddenly perked up - and I also do not want to be stuck inside all day tomorrow.
Anyway... I am considerind dating. I have come across some cute does on the 'Net (see here and here). Will update you later.
I have a pet cat that my humans call Neo but who I just call, 'Hey Stoopid'. He keeps entertained during the day, even though he is a bit of a sissy.
It's a debate between Salada Biscuit, Standard variety and those weet-bix bars, Mmmm-Mm. I shouldn't really have them but I can't resist every now and then.
