AquaAttack. My thingy-whatsy that keeps you a float while doing exercises was too loose and kept tilting me off balance so I didn't really enjoy it as much as normal. Also did a few laps (pool at 25m) with my flippers to see if it would help me focus on breathing more for freestyle. It did.

I bought yellow flippers (very cool) to help me get laps back up - freestyle (focus on breathing without worring about speed, etc). Didn't get to pool had a date with a bunch of friends and 'the aviator'.
A lame attempt at swimming (aqua attack class full and no spare equipment) and a spa

Finally. Back doing laps. I think the horror of the pool at Christmas really was off putting as I've really only been back since then for AquaAttack. During the Christmas period people were just ignorant and rude and you couldn't do laps... which was very frustrating... so I lost the enjoyment. Didn't do many laps this morning but it was nice to have made the effort and to be back in the pool. Thank Grud.

I will keep a bit of a tally as to how much value I'm getting from my membership. The tally is based on the equivalent I would have spent if paying for each visit individually. In doing this I am using the per visit casual visit fee for either pool area or classes (classes include pool area) by comparing this to the total membership fees spent to date.
A running tally is noted at the bottom of each day as:
[$ equivalent of casual entry fees I would have spent to date / $ total membership purchased up to date].
I will note costs for alternative forms of exercise separately as I'm kind of intrigued to see how much this getting fit and healthier ends up costing me over all. Of course, I could get fit for free but it's easier to motivate myself when I have paid for equipment/membership/whatever.
