I had not been swimming at all prior to this but felt fine. Was fun.

Yay! AquaAttack. I know I have arms legs and a tummy. Last time I did it I'd pretty much been swimming every day for a week or two but this time, I'd only swam recently the day before and boy did I know it. Yay. Yay. Yay. I missed my swimming over Christmas (too hard) but feel so much better now I am back into it. Apparently the Thursday night class has more focus on various muscles than the Tuesday night one - one of the other people in the class said the Tuesday night one had none of the 'tummy stuff'.
And, and... and... the floation device we had to wear made my boobs look *huge* - and really impressive. Hah. I'm used to them so don't usually make a huge deal out of my boobs but gor damn they were impressive.

Hah! Finally. Back into it. There were some comps going on at the pool so the diving poool was it. A tad choppy but at least I remember I have some muscles again. Got in, moved about, got wrinkly got out at the end. Not much to report except to use a really corny cliche... 'I'm back in the saddle again'. Woot.

Blah blah blah... family (four of them stayed with me), friends (mostly visits), gardening (breaking/sawing/burning pruned branches and gaining lots of bruises and cuts in process), reading, sleeping, not looking at a computer.

I will keep a bit of a tally as to how much value I'm getting from my membership. The tally is based on the equivalent I would have spent if paying for each visit individually. In doing this I am using the per visit casual visit fee for either pool area or classes (classes include pool area) by comparing this to the total membership fees spent to date.
A running tally is noted at the bottom of each day as:
[$ equivalent of casual entry fees I would have spent to date / $ total membership purchased up to date].
I will note costs for alternative forms of exercise separately as I'm kind of intrigued to see how much this getting fit and healthier ends up costing me over all. Of course, I could get fit for free but it's easier to motivate myself when I have paid for equipment/membership/whatever.
