Nada. Zilch. Zip. Nowt.
December. Lack of sleep. Running around. Injured hand. Christmas stuff. Domestic Chores. Shopping. I haven't had a minute spare... I've been stuffed in the morning so getting up early would be more detrimental than good. Thurday night is crazy too (I have to miss AquaAttack and that's actually a lot of fun). Maybe Friday morning... (Friday night is already crammed packed and out of the question).
I don't hate myself... it's not laziness or lack of will, just lack of time. But I do wish I'd got in a few more laps. Maybe next week will be better. On the upside, I've done heaps of running around and heaving stuff about so perhaps it's not all bad.

Swam laps for about 3/4 hour.
In my latest news, I am getting less and less worried about the whole bathers thing and even pause to pass comment on occasion to random people who are dallying about getting in because they think it is cold. This never ceases to amaze me as if they just got in the water and went for it they'd be a whole lot less cold that trying to inch in the water or by splashing themselves while they are still above water and getting colder as a result of the air on their wet bodies. Eye roll.
My body image (even though my body hasn't changed much yet) is improving daily and it feels like I am getting less squishy and a little firmer even though it has not registered on the scales (scales are tricky with adding muscle you add weight, losing fat you lose weight... muscle weighs more than fat so the scales end up not changing). I *even* look at my nekked body with a less critical eye and am beginning to like what I see.
I think this is probably partly due to the fact I am doing something and partly the fact that after being out in public in a bathing suit, I realise that the idea was much scarier than the reality and that no one stares at me like I am a freak... I'm just another person at the pool.

And on the 9th day... I rested. I needed a day off, so I took it.

After getting up early to catch up with a friend, meet her family and check out the produce atthe Willunga Markets, I came home and had a nap. Went swimming at about 8pm. Nothing exciting to report. Really.

I will keep a bit of a tally as to how much value I'm getting from my membership. The tally is based on the equivalent I would have spent if paying for each visit individually. In doing this I am using the per visit casual visit fee for either pool area or classes (classes include pool area) by comparing this to the total membership fees spent to date.
A running tally is noted at the bottom of each day as:
[$ equivalent of casual entry fees I would have spent to date / $ total membership purchased up to date].
I will note costs for alternative forms of exercise separately as I'm kind of intrigued to see how much this getting fit and healthier ends up costing me over all. Of course, I could get fit for free but it's easier to motivate myself when I have paid for equipment/membership/whatever.
