Random thought for the day...

In Vietnam the young and trendy people don't buy expensive clothes in the latest fashion (too expensive, when a good wage for an IT worker was about $5,000 US per year) they rent complete outfits for the evening, including costume jewellery, bags, shoes and more. This normally costs a few dollars for the evening, and the person returns the outfit the next day, often to pick up another outfit for the next evening. These places don't generally advertise, and are only known to the locals and a few tourists, as you must assume the person owns the outfit and never ask if it is rented or how much it cost.

How cool is that?!

George Boeree's Homepage - a fantastically interesting link, Basically a uni psych professor's page, it includes several very well written and easy to follow papers, essays and comments (including an excellent essay on 'free will') plus links to lots of psychometric tests for bored people. This sort of thing gets me excited anyway. Breasts, beer, automechanics, psychology, philosophy, art and science; something went wrong there and I'll never make it as a journalist for Blokesworld.
