• Myth TV - *shrugs*... just look. MythTV is a GPL licensed suite of programs that allow you to build the mythical home media convergence box on your own using Open Source software and operating systems.
• 'Fish face' nurse gets the sack - story printed on News.com.au. Damn amusing. Well, depending on your sense of fun I guess.

• Diary of an Alice Springs Summer by a Pom - Amusing. Been there, done that and couldn't have put it better myself.
• Billions wasted on Iraq? - and the punchline, folks, is in the last paragraph.
• In Search of the Holy Grail by Matthew Levine - a 3 column CSS layout - with a liquid centre... sounds delicious and really is the holy grail of layouts (well at least for designers and code monkeys who integrate graphics with sites)
• An ode to mangoes - Hah! If you never thought fruit could be ... uh... hot, I think you need to meet mouse. (It's the last half of the piece, or last third, or... something starting, ""But then there is the fruit that does it all. Huge. Red and gold. Royal colors. The skin warm from the sun. • The Secret Cause of Flame Wars - According to a study, people have only a 50/50 chance of ascertaining the tone of any particular e-mail, but thought that they were correct 90% of the time. Interesting given that we rely on e-mail so much to communicate with each other. How often are we misinterpreting the tone of e-mail sent to us?
• Laid Off - A day in the life... by Odd Todd. A flash animation. Quite amusing... If it cuts a little to close to the bone for you, then it's probably not so funny coz it's Your Life.
• FON - FON is a Global Community of people who share WiFi. Share your WiFi broadband access at home/work and enjoy WiFi all over the world! FON: small cost, great benefit!
• Bushisms - I was sent this movie of Bush Speech glitches - amusing but these same glitches are dealt with so much better in Comedy Central's BadMash skit (see FS Archive, Nov 05)

• Jana Skinny Water, 24 - 16.9 Ounce (1/2 Liter) Bottles - Hmmmm. This came to me with the subject line, 'Find of the century'. I guess every one is out there looking for skinny water. Consumerism, eh?
