Speedos, mullets, ugg boots... remember - no matter what people try to tell you - these things are NEVER in or cool. And... even if they are, they're not.
EVEN when folks and fashion mags try to make believe that they are now the height of fashion - they're just lying to see how many suckers will fall for their story.
Celebrities are people too - some prone to bad taste - so just because the celebs are all wearing something hideous and trying to keep up with one another (even when it means they're sacrificing their own dignity), don't be tempted to jump on the band wagon. It'll blow over. Honestly. They have to do silly stuff every now and then - it's part of their, uh... job.
Repeat after me... "Speedos, mullets and ugg boots are bad. Oh, and rats tails."

I live on the wrong planet...- and sighing.
Interesting toy. There 'ya go - show Big Brother the Big Finger! There's some downside, but hey - freedom has a price ;-) "While it may be entertaining to destroy a symbol of corporate oppression, the older gentleman whose pacemaker you short-circuit may not appreciate your efforts." ps: the usual disclaimer applies ....(The September Friendly Spam page had some informational links to guff about RFID.)
Finally... a possible step in the right direction: Australia looks to legalize VCR recording, CD ripping and: Slashdot commentary. There's no guarantee, of course, and it was Ruddock they chose to quote. I've got a copy of the paper that the government issued on the subject. I'll have a read.
