Generally sources for content on these pages are not cited where the content came from a personal correspondence or conversion - though articles and websites are generally cited. If you wish to have your comments cited, I'm happy to do so. The reason I don't cite by default for links, etc on these pages is often people wish to retain their privacy. The Off Ya Butt and in(s)ane mutterings sections of the website now contain blogs. If you would like to be able to directly contribute content to these areas, please contact grudknows.com and provide an email address so a Blogger team member invitation can be sent out. All content submissions will be considered. Of course, this does not mean they'll definitely be added to the site... just considered. It's most likely your submissions *will* be accepted and promptly put up on the site... but I like to reserve the right to say no, if I deem it necessary. My idea of appropriate is reasonably broad and at the current point in time I believe, really only excludes hate speech and pornography. By hate speech I mean something that degrades a person or group of people without any actual logic or reasoning. If your piece is anti-something and can be justified then it's probably not hate speech and probably will be published if you submit it. Pornography is also out - it doesn't really fit in the context of my site and there's plenty already on the 'Net if you want to find it. There's one of those imaginery lines in my head that tells me the difference between porn and art... I'm sure some people may find some of the things I see as art objectionable, then again, maybe not.
If you make a submission please note clearly how you would like your material to be credited. For example, what name or nickname you would like to appear on the site with the submission should it be included on grudknows.com.
If you provide an email address, you'll be advised if your content will be published or not and if it is, of the URL/web address where you can view it online.
If you have stuff that you think would be of interest to others, feel free to submit it for consideration. I am looking for stories/articles from people overseas to do a 'There's a whole world out there' section - could be on a moment, adapting to a new culture, travel story... whatever. I also have someone willing to do a regular photo segment based on a theme. If you've got a once-off article or an ongoing column, feel free to submit it.
For those of you emailing your submissions - please make it clear either in the subject line or the body of the email - that your email contains a submission for inclusion on the grudknows website.
If emailing content, it is preferred that content is provided in plain text format and graphics are attached. If formatting is required to emphasis certain parts of the text you may provide it in alternative ways.

Photos for main content area will be sized so they are no larger than 470px wide.
Feel free to include a short profile about yourself that may be created as link from the submitted content should the submission be accepted. Make it as silly or serious as you like. Include contact details/website links/details if you want... but you'll need to make it clear that you want these included in the profile as I won't publish any contact details without your permission.
You may include a photo or contact details if desired. Photos/images for the contributors index will be sized to 50px by 50px. Images for photos on the left of your profile will be sized to 100px wide. Photos in the main content section of your profile will be sized so they are no larger than 445px wide.
I generally put public events I hear about up on the site, and personal ones as requested. Feel free to send events for inclusion on grudknows.com but if doing so, ensure you note they are for publication on the website.
